Adjusting to Kindergarten

Our children are off to school. I would love to hear from other moms how they are helping their child adjust to kindergarten. Getting up earlier, getting ready and out the door in time and feeling comfortable dropping your child off at the front door. How long did you walk your child into school? I think this is as much of an adjustment for me as it is for my son. It's all very exciting but I would love to hear about other's experience with this transition. Thank you!
